Lithuanian magazine VALSTYBĖ recognized the defenders of Mariupol as “People of 2022.”
The editor of VALSTYBĖ, Eduardas Eigirdas, addressing the readers, emphasized that “today, the people of Ukraine protect not only their country but also people in Lithuania.”
“Thanks to the heroism of Ukrainians, today Lithuania has become much safer,” he added.
