Denmark may limit issuing of tourist visas for Russians, regardless of the EU decision

Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod called it a “disgrace” that Russian tourists can sunbathe in Europe while Ukrainian cities are being “bombed beyond recognition,” Danish TV2 reports.

“I think it is deeply shameful that Russian tourists can sunbathe and live in the hustle and bustle of Southern Europe, while Ukrainian cities are bombed beyond recognition,” the Minister said.

“If it cannot be done with a joint solution, from the Danish side we will look at the possibility of introducing restrictions that will further reduce the number of Russian tourist visas,” stressed Jeppe Kofod.
