Despite the leg amputation due to the war, Ukrainian acrobat returns to sports and trains children

33-year-old acrobat, choreographer, and coach Oleksandr Chaika returns to sports and training children after being severely wounded in hostilities in the East of Ukraine.
Oleksandr joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Last April, he was wounded with a Russian projectile and got his leg amputated, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine reports.
After receiving a prosthesis, Oleksandr learned to walk again, and after ten months of treatment and rehabilitation, he returned to Kyiv to train children again.
