Despite war: Verkhovna Rada adopted 234 laws under the conditions of martial law

Ukrainian Parliament – the Verkhovna Rada – adopted 234 laws since the beginning of Russian full-scale aggression against Ukraine, Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, stated in his Facebook account on August 17, 2022.

According to him, most laws are related to national security, taxes and customs policy.

“Our country has been at war for about six months. We face challenges every day. And we gain our own experience in this struggle,” noted Stefanchuk.
