Director of the Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater kidnapped by Russians

Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko has called on the world cultural community to make every effort to release Oleksandr Knyha: “This morning Russian terrorists in a brutal fascist way kidnapped and took away in an unknown direction Oleksandr Knyha, the director of the Kherson Regional Music and Drama Theater, the deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, the founder of one of the most popular international theatrical festival Melpomene of Tavria. We call on the entire world cultural community to make possible and impossible efforts for his quick release! The whole world must know about it!” the minister wrote.
