Doctors from Lviv became godparents for 16-year-old boy from Bakhmut, whose life they saved
16-year-old Mykyta from Bakhmut, who hardly survived in shelling of his hometown, was baptized in Lviv St. Nicholas Hospital. The doctors who saved the boy’s life became his godparents. Mykyta’s body was hit by six fragments, with one that stopped right next to his heart. The boy was transported more than a thousand kilometers to Lviv in critical condition. “After everything he went through, Mykyta, together with his mother Tetiana, decided to be baptized in Lviv, in the hospital where his life was saved,” the First Medical Association of Lviv reports.
