Dolphins are dying en masse because of Russian warships in the Black Sea

On the coast of Odesa region during Russia’s war against Ukraine, marine mammals are found dead, affected by the presence of the enemy fleet.
The threat to dolphins is not only anti-ship mines and powerful shells fired by the occupiers but also less destructive, at first glance, things. In particular, military sonar harms animal health, damaging and disorienting dolphins’ hearing.
Due to the danger, environmentalists cannot survey all the beaches and estimate the exact extent of the damage caused to nature.
