Due to Russian aggression, about 1500 animal and plant species in Ukraine are under threat of extinction

Ukraine’s State Environmental Inspection has recorded more than 2,303 cases of environmental damage committed by Russia. As of now, the monetary valuation of the losses is estimated at least $51.7 billion.

According to the official statement, 600 animal species and 880 species of plants are under threat of extinction because of Russian aggression. A third of Ukrainian land is uncultivated or unavailable for agriculture. Up to 40% of arable land is not available for cultivation.
