Dynamo Kyiv held a charity game with Borussia Dortmund and raised €400,000 in support of Ukraine
Borussia Dortmund and Dynamo Kyiv helped to raise €400,000 in support of victims of the war in Ukraine when the teams met for a friendly match. Dynamo defeated Borussia 3:2.
Ukrainian footballers wore shirts with “Stop the genocide in Mariupol,” urging to draw attention to the war-torn Ukrainian city, which was almost destroyed by Russians. The Ukrainian club is currently going around Europe, playing games on their ‘Match for Peace’ tour. Their visit to Dortmund was the fourth such game.
