€83 million in support of Ukraine were fundraised during charity concerts in Europe

Thanks to concerts in different European countries, more than €83 million have already been collected to help Ukraine, according to Ukrainian singer and Eurovision-2016 winner Jamala.

“We have already managed to raise more than 83 million euros to help Ukraine. Now everyone uses their resource to help. I consider it my duty to tell about the crimes of Russia to millions of people around the world and urge them to help us. Only thanks to European friends, we have already managed to raise millions,” the singer wrote on Facebook.

Jamala herself also took part in these concerts and performed her Eurovision-winning song “1944” about the deportation of the Crimean Tatars by the Soviet Union.
