EU disburses second €1.5 billion tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen informed that European Union transferred the second tranche of €1.5 billion to Ukraine as part of the €18 billion macro-financial assistance program.

“Today, we disbursed another €1.5 billion to Ukraine. Our support helps keep Ukraine running, while defending itself. And puts Ukraine firmly on its EU path by supporting reforms — good governance and financial stability, for example. Together we’re writing Ukraine’s future,” von der Leyen said on Twitter.
