EU sends personal protective equipment worth €1 million to the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service

The European Union handed over personal protective equipment worth €977,000 to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
“As part of the EU Support to Strengthening Integrated Border Management in Ukraine (EU4IBM), border guards received personal protective equipment, including helmets and bulletproof vests, for a total sum of more than €977,000,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine wrote on Telegram.
It is noted that procurement is currently underway to meet other needs of the services, including the purchase of additional personal protective equipment, diesel generators, cameras, etc.
