EU to launch a humanitarian demining program in Ukraine worth €25 million

The EU promised €25 million for demining the liberated areas of Ukraine.

“Demining action is crucial to safe the lives of the civilian population, to allow them to return to a normal life, to prevent the random walk of the death in the forest,” stated EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, who visited Kyiv on Feb. 3, 2023.
