EU to train 11,000 Ukrainian servicemen by the end of March 2023

The EU Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM) will have trained more than 11,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of March 2023, as announced by EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Josep Borrell.

As part of the mission, another 30,000 Ukrainian troops are planned to finish training by the end of 2023. According to Borrell, EUMAM will train tank crews to pilot modern tanks pledged to Kyiv by Western countries.
