EuroFestival during Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool
The long-awaited EuroFestival has begun in Liverpool! Running from 1-14 May, EuroFestival is Liverpool’s first major cultural event in the run-up to Eurovision. During EuroFestival, visitors will discover the diversity and depth of contemporary Ukrainian culture through 19 spectacular projects created jointly by Ukrainian and British artists. Festival’s highlights include: Soloveiko Songbirds, Land & Sky, Home & Dreams, Jamala – QIRIM, media-opera Chornobyldorf, Izyum to Liverpool and more.
EuroFestival has been made possible thanks to support from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, as well as The British Council, Spirit of 2012 and Arts Council England. The content partners are The Ukrainian Institute, the BBC, Liverpool ONE, The Liverpool BID and Royal Liverpool Albert Dock.
