Europe can create new history of freedom thanks to bravery of Ukrainians

“It is thanks to the bravery of Ukrainian men and women that Europe can create this new history of freedom and finally remove the ‘gray’ zone between the EU and Russia in Eastern Europe. Ukraine has come closest to the European Union since independence,” President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said in his address.

Zelenskyy called the day historic, given the visit of the leaders of France, Romania, Germany, and Italy, who supported granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership.
