European Parliament calls on EU states to send Western fighter jets to Ukraine

On Feb. 16, 2023, the European Parliament adopted a resolution with a call for providing Ukraine with military aid for as long as necessary. Members of the European Parliament called on EU states to seriously consider the delivery of fighter jets, helicopters, and appropriate missile systems to Ukraine. “Ukraine must not only be able to defend itself, but also to regain full control of its entire internationally recognized territory,” says the resolution.
