European Parliament declares Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism

“On November 23, 2022, the European Parliament adopted a resolution naming Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, Euronews reports. The resolution was approved with 494 votes in favor, 58 against, and 44 abstentions. The European Parliament also recognizes Russia as a state which uses means of terrorism. Members of the European Parliament call on the EU and its Member States to develop an EU legal framework that will sanction the Russian regime.”
