Every 2nd small business in Ukraine is started by women

In 2023, every second new business as sole proprietors was established by women, as shown in the analysis of the Opendatabot service.

Since the start of the year, 36,892 businesses as sole proprietors have already been registered, with 51% of them created by women.

One-third of new sole proprietors registered by women are engaged in retail trade.
