“Every meter of the city is under shelling”

The 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces shared photos of the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, completely ruined by Russian shelling.

“You may think it’s fog. But no. This is the smoke from fires and smoke shells used by the enemy in a desperate attempt to break through our defenses,” is said in the brigade’s statement. Ukrainian defenders say that shelling and airstrikes do not abate for a minute, but despite that Ukrainians keep defending the city.
