“Everyone wanted to kick Russia’s ass but no one dared. We were left with no choice”

In an interview with Sky News, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine is not afraid of Russia.

“The reason why so many people in NATO countries including politicians admire Ukraine is simple: Ukraine is not afraid of Russia. And they are. Everyone wanted to kick Russia’s ass, but no one dared. We were left with no choice,” he said.

Dmytro Kuleba also said Ukraine has tried to negotiate humanitarian corridors with Russia, but they always ‘cheated’ and ‘tricked’ them. He said if Ukraine failed in Mariupol, it would be the failure of the United Nations.
