Family of the fallen Ukrainian defender adopted a dog he found at the front

The family of the fallen Ukrainian defender Ruslan Marusyk adopted a dog that he found at the front.

The defender sheltered a street dog during his service. The animal really liked the new owner, so it did not leave him. The dog was even named ‘Marusia’ as consonant with the surname of the military.

After his death, volunteers looked for a new home for the dog. It turned out to be the family of Ruslan himself.

Ruslan’s daughter, Antonina, insisted on adopting the dog. The girl said that the dog would be a memory of her father.
