Fighting in Ukraine’s east is hell

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has released his nightly address, in which he provides updates on the situation in Ukraine.

He said that despite US supplies of rocket artillery, Kyiv’s forces could not yet overcome Russian advantages in heavy guns and manpower.

“We still cannot completely break the advantage of the Russian army in artillery and manpower, and this is very tangible in the battles, especially in Donbas — Pisky, Avdiivka, and other directions. It’s just hell there. It can’t even be described in words…” emphasized Zelenskyy.
