Financial support for Ukraine has bipartisan support in U.S. Congress

National Security Council Сoordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, stated that financial support for Ukraine had received bipartisan support in Congress, reports CBS News.
“I think everybody realizes what’s at stake here, which is more than just, you know, the town of Kherson or Kharkiv. It’s really about this idea of sovereignty. And it’s really about what the security environment in Europe is going to look like going forward,” he added.
John Kirby also noted that the United States would continue to support Ukraine “as best as we can” in its fight against Russia. “You’ve heard the president talk about that. As long as it takes. We’re committed to that,” he added.
