First Lady of Ukraine received a letter from the First Lady of the United States

The wife of the President of the United States of America, Jill Biden, wrote a letter to the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska. Mrs. Biden assured Mrs. Zelenska that she would support the Ukrainian National Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program. The U. S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, handed over the letter to the wife of the Ukrainian President, as informed by Olena Zelenska on the Telegram channel.
“Mrs. Brink handed me a letter — a response from the U.S. First Lady Jill Biden, with whom we visited families of internally displaced persons in Uzhgorod in May 2022. Then Mrs. Biden saw with her own eyes how much horror our mothers endured, saving their children from the war, and what psychological consequences of Russian aggression our children will have to grow up with. Therefore, in the letter, she assures that the United States will provide comprehensive support in the development of our program to restore the mental health of Ukrainians, both in Ukraine and in the United States, by taking care of refugees who have found asylum in the US,” said the First Lady of Ukraine.
