First photos of Ukrainian defenders liberated from Russian captivity

Tired but happy, Ukrainian defenders were pictured after liberation from Russian captivity. On September 21, 2022, Ukraine freed 205 Ukrainian prisoners of war. Five of them — top commanders of Mariupol’s defense — are now in Türkiye and will stay there in comfortable conditions until the end of the war and will also be able to see their families.
