First time in 8 years: Ukraine wins medal at the Junior World Figure Skating Championship

Ukraine won a medal at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships for the first time in eight years.

Ukrainians Violetta Serova and Ivan Khobta became bronze medalists of the World Championship among juniors in pair skating.

Also, the bronze medal at the 2023 Junior World Championships is the best result for Ukraine in the last 23 years in the pair competition.

The last time Ukrainian skating pairs were in the top 3 was in 2000.
