First Ukrainian film festival took place in Namibia

The Association “Namibia stands with Ukraine” organized a Ukrainian film festival in Windhoek. Four prominent Ukrainian movies were screened and four-panel discussions on the topic of the movie were organized.

Local experts shared their views on how Russia’s war on Ukraine affected Namibia, how propaganda in the media influenced people and what is the role of art in preventing future wars.

During the festival, organizers collected donations that will be sent to Ukraine.
