France hopes to supply AMX 10-RC wheeled tanks to Ukraine within two months
French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecorneu said he expects to supply Ukraine with AMX-10 RC heavy armored personnel carriers, also classified as wheeled tanks, within two months. The French Defense Ministry informed about this in a statement following a conversation between the minister and his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov.
The ministers discussed the supply of French-made AMX-10 RC combat vehicles to Ukraine, as agreed by President Macron in a conversation with President Zelenskyy on Jan. 4, 2023, within two months, the statement said.
The ministers also discussed the organization of rapid training for Ukrainian machine operators. It is reported that Oleksii Reznikov thanked his counterpart for the Crotale air defense systems that helped save lives during the recent bombing of Kyiv.
