Google to provide $2 million for digital education of Ukrainians

Google is providing a $2 million grant and Google Fellowship support to develop digital education in Ukraine. The funds will be used to educate Ukrainians and increase digital literacy, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine informs.

The company will also provide 50,000 Google Workspace licenses for the Government of Ukraine. During the year, government agencies will be able to use them for free. It will ensure data protection and security, given the constant cyber threats.

“Google services have become our infrastructure. The tools provided by the company allowed the Government to function quickly and efficiently, despite the shelling and constant threats of cyber attacks… We are grateful to the company for such a position and support of Ukraine,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
