Group of members of the Japanese Parliament created a fund of $1.2 mln and purchased 20 Toyota Hilux trucks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

“A group of members of the Upper House of the Japan’s Parliament from the opposition Renaissance Party have created a fund of $1.2 million through deductions from their salaries, which they used to purchase 20 Toyota Hilux trucks and two containers of useful products for our Armed Forces. All of this will soon be delivered to Ukraine in the hands of our defenders, who, I have no doubt, will use the assistance in the best possible way. It is important that we have the support of both pro-government and opposition parties in the Japanese Parliament,” Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan Sergiy Korsunsky wrote on Facebook.
