Highlights from the speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in The Hague

During the trip to the Netherlands on May 4, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited The Hague.
In the International Criminal Court, Zelenskyy delivered a speech called “No Peace Without Justice for Ukraine.”
“We all want to see a different Vladimir here in The Hague,” the Ukrainian President said in a speech. His remark was a reference to the arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin issued by the International Criminal Court.
Zelenskyy also called for the creation of a war crimes tribunal.
“The aggressor must feel the full power of justice. This is our historical responsibility. Only one institution is capable of responding to the original crime, the crime of aggression: a tribunal. Not some compromise that will allow politicians to say that the case is allegedly done, but a true, really true, full-fledged tribunal,” noted the Ukrainian President.
