Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Kyiv on Feb. 15, 2023.

Zelenskyy thanked Sweden for its assistance: “I thank Sweden for the defense package. Archer is one of the best artillery pieces in the world. Sweden is a top five supplier of support to Ukraine and I thank Sweden for that support. It is a clear message about how Sweden views human rights.”

Kristersson said it had been important to visit Ukraine: “I am here to demonstrate Sweden’s steadfast support for Ukraine. It was important to come here and see the terrible Russian destruction with my own eyes. I have done that today.”
