President of Finland Sauli Niinistö made an unannounced visit to Kyiv to “reiterate Finland’s strong and unwavering support for Ukraine for as long as needed.” He met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and visited war-torn Bucha and Borodianka in the Kyiv region.

“Visited Borodianka and Bucha. The atrocities committed here must not go unpunished. I remain deeply impressed by the courage and determination of the Ukrainian people, soldiers and civilians alike. It will be remembered for generations to come,” Niinistö wrote on Twitter.
