I would like the Russians to realize their responsibility for the war

The frontman of the Scorpions, Klaus Meine, once again condemned Russian aggression against Ukraine and supported Ukrainians in their struggle. In his interview with Ukrainian journalist Oleksii Sukhachov, Meine said he believes that all Russians should take responsibility for the war.
“I would like the people in Russia to understand what is going on now and come to the feeling of their own responsibility for the deaths, wounds and homelessness of innocent people. Yes, they say: ‘It’s not Russians; it’s the regime.’ But Russians support this regime,” Meine said. “I would love to say that not all Russians are guilty, but I am afraid that is not true. I would really like all of them to realize their responsibility,” he stressed.
Also, Meine is impressed by the devotion of Ukrainians to their country: “All of them are patriots. I don’t think it is anything stronger than this feeling when you do not run away, but you say: ‘I resist this difficult and dangerous situation that may kill me or my loved ones. Still, I will be here; my country can count on me.”
