“If Putin wanted peace, he would bring his soldiers home, and the war would be over”

The German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock reacted to Russia’s call for a 36-hour ceasefire. She said if Putin really wanted peace, “he would bring his soldiers home.”

“A so-called ceasefire brings neither freedom nor security to people living in daily fear under Russian occupation,” the German Foreign Minister stated on Twitter.
