In Enerhodar, Russians dispersed a rally with mortar fire — there are wounded
After residents of the town of Enerhodar in the Zaporizhzhia region gathered for a rally on April 2, 2022, the Russian invaders resorted to grenade explosions and shelling. Some people were wounded and others detained.
On Saturday morning, city residents gathered for a peaceful rally in support of Ukraine. They were singing the national anthem and talking to each other as the aggressors looked on.
When Enerhodar residents began to disperse, enclosed trucks approached, in which the invaders began to “pack” the locals.
Within minutes, the city was shaken by the sounds of explosions and massive shelling. Terrified Enerhodar citizens began to flee in different directions. Car alarms were triggered by the blast streets away. It is already known that several citizens were hospitalised with injuries and severe burns due to a series of explosions and mortar attacks by the aggressors in the area of the “Suchasnyk” House of Culture.
