In Ukraine, 67% of bank branches have continued to operate despite the war – National Bank of Ukraine

In Ukraine, 67% of the bank branches have kept working under martial law, said Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Serhiy Nikolaychuk. “In Ukraine, more than two-thirds of branches of the systemically important banks that functioned before the war operate today. There are no problems with the work of branches in Western and Central Ukraine,” he said. However, there are big problems with the work of branches in Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson. Although even in these regions, despite the war, there are banks that ensure the operation of their branches.
