Installation-symbol of the resilience and faith of Ukrainian prisoners of war from “Azovstal” was unveiled in Kyiv

On St. Sofia’s Square in Kyiv, an installation called “Azovstal,” symbolizing the resilience and faith of prisoners of war, was unveiled. Activists and families of Azovstal’s defenders were present at the opening. Defenders of ’Azovstal,” who had already been released from Russian captivity, spoke in front of the audience.
Sculptor Yan Bespalko, in collaboration with Natalia Bashkatova, Anastasia Semenenko, Denys Petryshyn, Valentyna Yaroschuk, Daryna Dryga, and Volodymyr Tretiak created the installation, with the assistance of the TVERDO concrete workshop at Art-Zavod Platforma.
