Interactive map showing the places where Ukrainian servicemen went missing was created
The Office of the Commissioner for Persons Gone Missing under Special Circumstances has prepared an interactive map that marks the probable locations where the Ukrainian military went missing. It was reported by the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War on Telegram.
At the initiative of the NGO “Unbreakable 72nd Mechanized Brigade,” a meeting was held at the Coordination Headquarters with the families of the captured and missing defenders of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians.
According to the headquarters spokesperson, there are times when it is impossible to remove the remains of fallen comrades due to the battle situation in a certain area. The Commissioner for Persons Gone Missing under Special Circumstances is in charge of searching for and returning the bodies of fallen military. The office has prepared an interactive map with the underlined locations of possible disappearances of the fighters. After the de-occupation and demining of the territory, the search teams will carry out appropriate activities there.
