International Donor’s Conference raised $6.5 billion for Ukraine

An International Donor’s Conference dedicated to raising funds for Ukraine, which needs help because of the war unleashed by Russia against it, raised $6.5 billion, according to the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki.
Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, announced 200 million euros ($211.44 million) in support for displaced people in Ukraine. France pledged a further $300 million at the Conference. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also launched a global fundraising site United24: https://u24.gov.ua/.
Ukraine has received over $12 billion in weapons and financial aid since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at the Conference.
