Invaders ‘evacuate’ the residents of the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories to use them as a ‘living shield’
Russian invaders transport the population of the temporarily occupied Ukrainian regions to the places where their armed troops are stationed. Under the guise of ‘evacuation,’ they use locals as a cover. Head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk stated during the national telethon, as Ukrinform reports.
“Every time the Russians get a little hot, we observe an imitation of care for the local population. We witnessed that on the right bank territories when they were actively relocating the locals. We are currently observing this on the left bank of the Kherson region as well. They are trying to evacuate people deeper, to the spots where they are setting up their defense lines, and as a result, they are attempting to re-deploy their military equipment and units and use locals as a shield,” Humeniuk said.
