Iran and Russia will be held accountable for atrocities in Ukraine

Canada condemns the Iranian regime’s active support for Russian war crimes in Ukraine, the Canadian Foreign Ministry reported on Twitter.

“Canada strongly condemns Iran’s active support of Russian atrocities in Ukraine through the sale of weapons and provision of Iranian military personnel to train and assist Russian forces on the use of Iranian weapons,” the statement reads. “These actions result in the death of civilians, threaten global peace and security and must stop. Iran and Russia will be held accountable.”
