“It was a year of pain, sorrow, faith, and unity. And this year, we remained invincible. We know that 2023 will be the year of our victory!”
“We will defeat everyone. Because we are Ukraine!” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address dedicated to the one-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy refers to this year as a year of invincibility. “We will do everything to gain victory this year,” Zelenskyy stressed.
He also thanked the military, medics, volunteers and Ukraine’s foreign partners for joining efforts in putting up resistance to full-scale Russian aggression.
“We can see it even in the dark. Despite the constant massive missile attacks and power outages. We see the light of this victory,” Zelenskyy said. “We withstand all threats, shelling, cluster bombs, cruise missiles, kamikaze drones, blackouts, and cold. We are stronger than that.”
