It’s great to compete without representatives of the aggressor country

After the triumph of the Ukrainian national synchronized swimming team at the stage of the World Cup, Ukrainian swimmer Maryna Aleksiiva shared her impressions about the competition in an exclusive interview for Ukrinform.
“Finally, we performed at the first stage of the World Cup. It was unusual, given the new system of evaluating our performances. Each coach determines the complexity of the program. Then, they evaluate the artistry. We did our best; we did everything we could. It was very important for us to perform in this series, to understand our strengths, and get acquainted with the new rules. After that, we will work even harder, especially on the complexity of our programs,” explained Aleksiiva.
