Ivan Marchuk’s painting sold at a charity auction for a record $120,000

Ivan Marchuk’s painting was sold for a record $120,000. Paintings by living Ukrainian artists have never been sold at auctions in Ukraine for such sums.

“The Garden of Temptation” went under the hammer during the Art can help charity auction organized by the Goldens auction house.

In general, 27 art objects were put up for sale to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 50% of the proceeds from the auction, which ended today, June 3, 2022, at 18:00, will be donated to the Come Back Alive Foundation.
