English singer Elton John urged the world to help Mariupol, a city that was almost ruined and besieged by Russian troops. He recalled the need for a humanitarian corridor on Twitter.

“Over 245k Ukrainians are living with HIV, many are fleeing their homes & leaving loved ones but disastrously, not all Ukrainians are within reach. I’ve been to Mariupol & I’m heartbroken to see that access is still limited. A full humanitarian corridor is essential to save lives,” wrote Elton John.
