Japan pledges $1 billion to help Ukrainian refugees

Japan plans to allocate $1 billion to help countries surrounding Ukraine accept refugees, Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki said ahead of the financial leaders from the G7 meeting, Sky News reports. According to him, G7 will debate how to prevent Russia from circumventing sanctions imposed after its invasion of Ukraine.
