Japanese architect Hiroki Matsuura will develop a master plan for war-torn Irpin in Kyiv region

Japanese architect Hiroki Matsuura agreed to develop a master plan for war-torn Irpin in the Kyiv region, a town with the infrastructure destroyed during the Russian shelling and temporary occupation. During the meeting between Hiroki Matsuura and Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn, the discussion led to an agreement on cooperation.
Later, Hiroki Matsuura will be able to present the master plan of Irpin with an emphasis on the individual features of the town to the local authorities.
“I was in 10 cities of Ukraine. This is the best one I have seen. For us, urban planners, Irpin is a city of dreams. I understood why young families move here,” the architect said.
