Japanese blogger offers free hugs to Ukrainians in Kyiv to support them during the wartime

Japanese blogger Koichi Kuwabara offers free hugs to Ukrainians in the center of the capital of Ukraine — Kyiv — to support them during the brutal Russian invasion.
“I’m from Japan. I’m not that brave to join the army and cannot financially support the Ukrainian people. I don’t even speak Ukrainian. But I know now are hard times for Ukraine. So I came here to hug you all and say: I’m with you,” is written on the poster he is holding.
Koichi Kuwabara has been doing the Free Hugs Campaign over the world since 2011.
